TOPdesk detects opportunities and wants to capitalise on them
TOPdesk mainly operates in service management software. Their success story started in Delft in the 1990s. It has since spread its wings worldwide and is a successful SaaS company. Its track record is impressive, but TOPdesk wants to continue accelerating. Therefore, the development of their employees is a priority. Specifically for marketing management, we designed and facilitated a unique training program. Read the ins and outs below.
What organisation doesn’t dream of a well-oiled marketing machine? TOPdesk certainly does. For Jan-Bart Bij de Vaate (Head of Global Brand & Marketing) and Floor Spek (Marketing Manager Netherlands) reason to seek our expertise. Learning with and from each other pays off. But how do you arrange that when colleagues are literally miles apart and continuous traveling is not an option? We also had to face mutual differences in knowledge levels. Finally, we went for maximum impact at a manageable time investment.

- Physical meetings to get to know each other better and to start the program at the same time.
- An E-learning to increase knowledge of the marketing profession and eliminate level differences.
- Interactive online work sessions with a practical assignment to bring theory to life, apply it directly and reinforce each other.
- 1:1 coaching to help participants progress personally
Content
We created customisation to match the content and level of the program to the demand. In this case, this meant reusing elements from various digital and marketing training courses in a clever way, complementing them and making them TOPdesk-specific. In addition, each participant developed their own marketing plan during the program. They received on-the-job coaching to help them develop the plan.
