When delivering our courses, CO2 is emitted in various ways. Consider the production of books, the use of the online learning environment, travel to a training location, or electricity consumption during online classes. To take a step toward a greener future, Beeckestijn Business School has been offsetting all CO2 emissions since 2019. Using the Environmental Barometer, we have calculated our current emissions and invest through Trees for All 🌱 in reforestation and nature conservation projects.
What does this mean in practice? If you follow a course at Beeckestijn, the associated emissions are fully offset. This makes us one of the few training providers in the Netherlands to offer CO2-neutral programs. In addition to this significant step, we aim to further reduce our emissions each year.
Furthermore, Beeckestijn contributes annually to a greener world by participating in Tree Planting Day. Together, we plant trees and actively contribute to a more sustainable future.
